WINE OF THE WEEK:

You may not believe what you’re about to read. And we can’t blame you for that!

Let’s start with the wine itself. The 2014 Justin Isosceles is a blend of 73% Cabernet,
15% Cabernet Franc, and 12% Merlot. It received this 93 point note from Wine Spectator:

“Shows a measure of finesse and restraint given the size, which is big and expressive, offering notes of plum, blackberry, baking spices and cedary oak. Best from 2020 through 2032.”

It also got 93 points from Wine Enthusiast, which called it “a whopper of a wine.”

The regular bottle of this wine (750 ml) typically sells for $60-$70. We see the half
bottle (375 ml) online from $25-$40.

Well, we just got several cases of that half bottle size. And we have it for you at the
unbelievable, unheard-of, spectacular price of just 14.97. That was not a typo.

Which means, if you buy two half bottles, you are getting the equivalent of a bottle
of Justin Isosceles for thirty bucks. Insane.

So MUCH good stuff coming up! Here’s a quick rundown:

We have just 2 more Wine Dinners for 2019. The next is Saturday, September 14.
And the final one of the year will be Wednesday, October 23. More details on that
first one will be coming soon.

THEN there’s our famous Bro-Down! The epic battle of Bill vs. Jim for wine-picking
supremacy. Jim had a good run for a while there, but Bill came roaring back last
year to kick his butt. We’ll find out who reigns supreme in 2019 on Friday, September 20.

Finally, we’ll begin our equally epic PENNY SALE on Friday, September 27.
Yes, it’s true. During this sale you can buy one wine and get the second for a penny
(on selected wines).
