WINE OF THE WEEK:

Okay, this might seem odd, but our WOW is one
of the wines featured in last Friday’s Winery Event.

Here’s the thing. Everyone who tasted it went
nuts for it, saying it tasted way more expensive
than it is.

We agree. So we’re going to keep it available this week.

I’m talking about the Daou Chardonnay 2014
from Paso Robles. Here’s a description:

A vibrant and tantalizing nose offers aromas of citrus
peel, white peach, nectarine, and lemon meringue pie.
Floral and spicy with notes of honeysuckle, star jasmine,
nutmeg, and subtle ginger nuances. Lush and smooth
on the palate, as flavors of pineapple, Asian pear and
melon evolve deliciously.

Really good Chardonnay. Just 14.97/bottle.
