WINE OF THE WEEK:
WOW, we have really been on a roll lately, and here we go again!
The 2012 Inglenook Cask Cabernet (Frances Ford Coppola’s winery) typically sells
for about $60 per regular bottle. It received a TON of great press, including a 95 point score from Wine & Spirits and this 93 point note from Robert Parker:
“This is the best young Inglenook Cabernet I have tasted during my professional career of 35 years. Dense ruby/purple with classic crème de cassis, but underlying minerality and spice box. The wine is full-bodied, but not over-the-top, yet nevertheless authoritative, rich and quite long. There is a thickness and concentration I haven’t seen from this estate in many a year and this wine should age beautifully for 20-25 years at the very minimum.”
High praise indeed! We have been fortunate to snag a few cases of half bottles
of this wine, and they’re waiting for you at just 19.97.
PLUS, if you like you can try it in the bar this midweek, at just $5/half glass!
WINE BAR ACTIVITIES:
