WINE OF THE WEEK:
Italy is Number 1.
As in, the top wine producer
in the entire world. Also the
top exporter of wine to the U.S.
Think that happened by accident?
Nope. It happened because they
keep producing exceptional wines
like this week’s WOW:
The 2010 Argiano Non Confunditur
(NC for short), which is 40% Cabernet,
and 20% each Merlot, Syrah, and
Sangiovese.
93 points from James Suckling:
“This is really beautiful and balanced with
refined tannins and focused, delicious ripe
cherry and raspberry fruit. Long and super silky.
Better in 2014 but so delicious now. Best NC
ever from Argiano.”
We often see 93 pointers roll in at $50,
$60, sometimes considerably more.
This one is just $16.97 at NCWC.
