WINE OF THE WEEK:

The subject line of this email was NOT
gratuitous and suggestive. Well, okay.
Maybe a little.

But it truly does relate to this week’s
WOW, which is the 2011 vintage of a
blend called Sexual Chocolate.

I’ll let the winery take it from here:

“From the guys who brought your daughter
home late comes the fourth release of Sexual
Chocolate Wine! Made in Napa, Sexual
Chocolate is a true California wine, blending
old vine Zinfandel from Napa with northern
California Syrah and Petite Syrah. The Zinfandel
presents a rich, warm feel that could be
confused with biting into a chocolate covered
cherry, while the Syrah adds a finish that does
not linger after the party is over. The Petite is
blended perfectly to display aromatics of magic
and love. Sexual Chocolate pairs well with late
nights, friends, and a second bottle of Sexual Chocolate.”

When I tasted this wine I was very pleasantly
surprised. Honestly, I expected something simple,
sweet, and lousy. What I got was a whole helluva
lot better!

Sexual Chocolate is $22.97 at NCWC.
