Your Pick-up Party, which is your opportunity to
taste all 4 Club wines for free, falls on Tuesday,
May 10, from 4-9.

As for your Stock-up Days, your opportunity to buy
wine at a discount, they will be Saturday and
Sunday, June 4-5. Take advantage!
Let’s check out the wines. We’re offering super cool
contrasts at both levels. Silver #1 is the 2013 Garzon
Tannat from Uruguay – yes, Uruguay. This example
shows how pleasing and supple this red can be.
It offers a very pretty and fruity aroma, with ripe berries.
There is excellent depth, yet it stays soft and supple on the
palate. It remains smooth and fine on the persistent finish.
Silver #2 is a rich red blend from California, vintage 2013,
called “The Cleaver.” From Renwood Winery, this is a
blend of 70% Zinfandel, 20% Syrah, and 10% Petite Sirah.
Dense flavors of blackberry, cherry sauce, and tobacco leaf
notes are perfectly integrated in this silky, juicy, and incredibly
smooth drinking experience. Vibrant and mouthwatering, with
dark fruit flavors that linger.
Let’s move to the Gold level. #1 is the 2008 Vina Arana
Rioja Reserva, 91 points Antonio Galloni:
“Vibrant red fruit and floral aromas are complemented by
smoky minerals, vanilla and underbrush. Sweet and lithe
on the palate, offering fresh raspberry and bitter cherry
flavors that flesh out and deepen with air. In a lively, graceful
style, this Rioja finishes with very good clarity, silky tannins
and an echo of candied rose.”
Gold #2 is the 2013 Treana Red from Paso Robles,
91 points Wine Enthusiast:
“Very inky in color, this bold and flavorful blend shows aromas
of cooked blueberries, caramel, fudge and milk chocolate.
The palate is rich with milk chocolate, cappuccino and
vanilla-bean flavors laid across a base of black-plum pudding
and woven together by lush, sticky tannins.”
We would absolutely love to see you for the Pick-up Party,
