Wine Club Tasting Notes
Silver Level first. The 2019 Cabirau Cotes du Roussillon is a blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah from southern France.
It offers black cherry, hints of savory herbs and a warm earthy tone, with nice grippy structure supporting the fruit nicely.
Next we have the 2019 Luchador Tempranillo from Spain’s Calatayud region.
Blackcurrant and blackberry aromas and flavors are accented by savory suggestions of smoke and dusty earth, but with a lingering juicy quality on the finish.
Gold level next. The 2021 Cline “Rock Carved” Cabernet is from Alexander Valley.
This offers succulent blackberry, plum and currant flavors along with cedar, leather and mocha. It’s full-bodied, layered and complex, with a smooth texture and long finish.
We close with another great wine from Cline, the 2021 “Eight Spur” Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley.
This displays loads of blueberry and strawberry flavors, with hints of cinnamon, tobacco leaf and vanilla. The mouthwatering acidity balances the ripe fruit, and the overall feel is opulent.
We hope you know how much we value and appreciate you. Thank you!!
