We’re hitting summer in full stride now, right? And of course we’ve got some
terrific Club Wines to help you enjoy the season. Let’s get to it!

Your Pick-up Party, which is your opportunity to taste all 4 Club wines

The monthly BOTTLE WINNER is Donna Perry. Congratulations!

Now here are your wines, Silver Level first. The 2014 Brancaia Tre is a Tuscan
blend of 80% Sangiovese and 10% each Merlot and Cab. 92 points James Suckling:

“Crushed berries with cappuccino and hints of underbrush. This is really delicious with showy red fruit-oriented flavors, and really juicy.”

Silver #2 is the 2016 Felino Cabernet, from Mendoza, Argentina and the guiding
hand of rock star winemaker Paul Hobbs.

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep red ruby color with pleasant aromas of ripe red fruit and a fresh touch of tobacco, cocoa and nutmeg. Good concentration on the palate, round and smooth, with a lovely finish.

Gold Level wines next. The 2015 Mauritson Zinfandel hails from Sonoma’s
Dry Creek Valley. 93 points Wine Spectator:

“Sleekly structured but showing a dynamic core of lively acidity and polished tannins,
this is buoyed by refined cherry, green peppercorn and licorice flavors.”

Finally, the 2014 Bramare Malbec is another Paul Hobbs project in Argentina.
This beauty received loads of great press, including 96 points from Suckling
and this 92 point note from Wine Spectator:

“A rich and lusciously spiced red, with dark cherry, dried blackberry and roasted plum flavors, accented by dark chocolate notes. Creamy midpalate, featuring a finish loaded with Asian spice and peppery details.”
