Your tasting notes are just below. Let’s begin with the other details.
All 4 Club Wines will be open and available to taste during the first midweek of the month, which means Tues-Thurs, the 1st through 3rd.
Your Stock-Up Days are Saturday and Sunday, the 19th and 20th. That’s right before Thanksgiving, so enjoy that discount!
Finally, our monthly Free Bottle winner is Jeannie Motier. Congratulations!
Now for the wines…
WINE CLUB TASTING NOTES:
We’ll start with the Silvers. The 2018 Basciano Chianti Rufina is densely textured and vivid, showing fine balance and character with its black cherry, blackberry, leather, woodsy and tobacco aromas and flavors.
Next is the 2019 Mas des Flauzieres Vacqueyras, a blend of Grenache and Syrah from the southern Rhone Valley. It has plenty of cassis, black cherry and spicy oak in a rich, powerful yet balanced style.
Moving on to the Gold level, we have the 2019 Hitching Post Highliner Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County. Black cherry, plum, cloves, leather, mocha and incense notes lend notable complexity and depth to this refreshing red.
Last but not least is the 2016 Note D’Incanto Brunello di Montalcino. All Sangiovese, this is both intense and elegant, showing broad notes of red fruit, spice, licorice and tobacco. Velvety tannins guide it through an elegant finish.
Cheers, and thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your life!
